For old music this week, do not miss the concert by Hespèrion XXI and the voices of La Capella Reial de Catalunya. Jordi Savall, legendary viola da gambist and conductor, directs music from the Llibre Vermeil, a 14th-century codex from the Abbey of Santa Maria de Montserrat in the mountains of Catalonia. This concert at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill happens to fall on the feast day of Our Lady of Montserrat, patroness of Catalonia, 8 p.m. Friday. classicalmovements.com
